Aelix's
leadership as a Communications Applications Service Provider (CASP) is
matched by the industry leadership of its corporate officers. The senior
management has extensive experience in launching high tech start-up companies
in both the US and abroad. Our seasoned team of professionals is central
to our success and is guiding Aelix toward a future of innovation and
growth.
Wesley Waite, Sr., joined Aelix in 1999, bringing with him more
than 30 years of experience in executive corporate management, operations
and communications. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer
at Aelix, Mr. Waite was its Senior Vice President, Operations and
was Vice President of Operations for Southern European Communications
Corporation. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations for MilleCom,
Inc., a multinational telecommunications company, where he oversaw the
development and implementation of telephone infrastructures, functionality
and operations. Earlier, from 1995 to 1998, Mr. Waite was COO of Nusantara
Communications, where he was responsible for the development of the Advanced
Telephone System and the operational development of Nusantara's manufacturing
facility in Indonesia and their marketing efforts in Poland. Prior to
that, from 1989 to 1995, Mr. Waite was Director of Field Operations for
McCaw Cellular Communications where he was a part of the national deployment
of the first Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) network and the UPS Cellular
Circuit Switched Data network.
Susan Simonson, joined Aelix in October 2006, as a result
of the acquisition by V&D Communications, as the Chief Operations
Officer. She brings with her more than 20 years of business experience
in the retail, eductional, and medical fields. She has had experience
working for companies such as HealthSouth and Professional Choice Services
where she was a key member of the management staff. As the CEO
of V & D Communications she led the acquistion of Aelix.
